The West Seattle Glass Float Hunt is an annual community treasure hunt, brought to you by the West Seattle Chamber and West Seattle Junction Association that blends eco-tourism, economic development, and local business support. Each August, 100 hand-blown glass floats, crafted by Avalon Glassworks, are hidden in local businesses and parks.
This event drives foot traffic to over 50 businesses, boosts local shopping and dining, and encourages residents and visitors to explore West Seattle’s parks and natural spaces. The hunt builds community connections, promotes sustainability, and highlights West Seattle as a friendly, accessible community combining arts and business.
