Chair: Jordan Crawley, Alki Beach Academy
The purpose of the Government Advocacy Committee (GAC) is to advocate the Chamber’s position on state and local government’s legislative, regulatory, and policy matters in the interest of our Members and the West Seattle business community. The GAC also works to create avenues for members to directly engage with elected officials, fostering impactful lines of communication. Additionally, the GAC aims to ensure Members stay informed and educated on issues relevant to their business interests, empowering them to navigate the regulatory landscape effectively.
Committee meets 2nd Monday of the month.

The nature of engagement and belonging has changed in our post-COVID world, and the Special Events Committee works to create meaningful opportunities for Members to participate in community and create impactful events that empower an inclusive business community. These creative events draw substantial attendance and drive revenue, providing our Members with invaluable networking opportunities to showcase their businesses and create meaningful connections. The Marketing Committee aims to expand visibility for Membership through innovative and creative storytelling, focusing on increasing brand awareness and viability for your business. Membership Matters, and the Marketing Committee works to amplify the Chamber's mission of sustainable economic growth in the greater West Seattle area. Join the conversation!

Interested in meeting the membership? The Ambassador Committee focuses on welcoming new members, supporting existing members, introducing them to the WSCC, communicating with current members to insure the Chamber remains active and engaged through the Chamber in the greater West Seattle business community.
Committee meets 3rd Thursday of the month (or one week before all scheduled After Hours).

Demonstrate your financial knowledge. Provide oversight of the WSCC financial management and activities, review monthly financial activity, propose and monitor budget and advise the Board of Directors on financial matters.
